LAPOINT EXTENDED WARRANTY
Warranty term begins on the date of
invoice, subject to limitations listed herein. LaPoint at
its option shall repair or replace a product within the
warranty term, after determination by LaPoint that the
product is defective. Products not returned to LaPoint will
not be warranted.
LIMITATIONS: Warranty does not apply to or include
any of the following:
(A).Any damages as a result of
overheating, lack of lubrication, or
contamination.
(B). Damage resulting from pre-ignition or
detonation, this
includes, but not limited to melted
or broken pistons, damaged
cylinder head, leaking head
gaskets, etc..
(C ). Repair or replacement required as a
result of any accident or
misuse.
(D). Repair or replacement of any accessory
or service item,
including specifically, but not
limited to all components of the
cooling, fuel, electrical, and
ignition system, in addition to all
belts, hoses, and filters.
(E). Any product used for competition,
racing, or related purposes.
(F). Any product to which a device or
accessory not conforming to
original manufacturer’s
specifications has been installed.
(G). Any product on which periodic
maintenance services required
by the original manufacturer have
not been performed, or
which are not substantiated by
written receipts for said
maintenance.
LIMITED LIABILITY: LaPoint’s liability under this
warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of
defective product. LaPoint shall not be liable for any loss
of income or exemplary damages, including, but not limited
to rental cars, towing fees etc..
LABOR PAYMENTS: LaPoint authorized repairs will be
compensated at a rate not to exceed 100% of the applicable
flat rate schedule as published be Chilton, Mitchell, or
Motor Repair manuals. Hourly rates for all other authorized
labor claims will br paid in accordance with original
installation rate, not to exceed $60.00 per flat rate hour,
not to exceed the value of said part.
CLAIM PROCEDEURE WHICH MUST BE
FOLLOWED:
(A). A copy of the invoice must be
presented in legible condition without any items erased or
omitted.
(B). A copy of proof of oil change every
3000 miles or less, reflecting the date and license number
or VIN of vehicle in which said product was
installed. |
